1. Participation in this raffle costs £1 per raffle ticket.

2. This raffle is open to residents of mainland Great Britain (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands).

3. No tickets can be sold to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 years.

4. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 they will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit their prize.

5. Monies raised by this raffle will support the general work of CAFOD, Registered Charity No 285776.

6. Payment for participation in the raffle can be made by cheque payable to CAFOD, credit/debit card or cash.

7. Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.

8. CAFOD accepts no responsibility for raffle tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible, or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.

9. All tickets for the Fast Reply draw must be received no later than Friday 1 February 2013. And, for the main World Water Day Raffle draw, no later than Monday 18 March 2013.

10. Any ticket entries received after Monday 18 March 2013 will be considered as donations to CAFOD.

11. The Fast Reply draw will take place on Friday 1 February 2013. The main draw will take place on Thursday 22 March 2013.

12. Eight raffle tickets will be drawn randomly.

13. The buyer of the first ticket number drawn will be offered a choice of either £4,000 cash or an Umbrian Discovery holiday for two people with Intrepid Travel, including flights, transfers, accommodation and spending money up to a total prize value of £4,000. For more information or to view the itinerary, visit intrepidtravel.com. If the Umbrian Discovery holiday is not available, the winner may select an alternative holiday from Intrepid Travel up to the value of £4,000 or choose £4,000 cash. In any event, the total value of the 1st prize shall not exceed £4,000.

14. The buyer of the second ticket number drawn will receive £1,500.

15. The buyer of the third ticket number drawn will receive £500.

16. The 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th ticket numbers drawn will each receive £100.

17. The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

18. Winners will be notified by post, email or telephone no later than two weeks after the draw date. A list of winners will also be published at cafod.org.uk/raffle within two weeks after the draw date. Please keep the ticket number as proof of purchase.

19. Where CAFOD is unable to contact a prize-winner so that a prize remains unclaimed for six months following CAFOD’s first attempt to notify the prize-winner, CAFOD may apply the prize as it sees fit, including by re-offering the prize in future raffles.

20. All winners are required to co-operate with CAFOD’s right to publish their win as and where deemed appropriate, including providing a photograph, quotation and proof of age when requested.

21. CAFOD is registered with the Gambling Commission to operate this raffle, licence number 000-020674-N-302813-004. This licence is issued under Part 5 of the Gambling Act 2005, and is valid from 1 November 2010.

24. Requests to be removed from future raffle mailings, or any concerns about this raffle, should be addressed to CAFOD, Romero House, 55 Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7JB or by calling 020 7095 5688.

25. In the event of an error, howsoever caused, whether a printing error or otherwise and whether obvious or otherwise, which affects the raffle in any way, the organisers reserve the right to administer the raffle as though the error had not occurred. Where the organisers deem it appropriate and/or feasible CAFOD will notify entrants of the error.

26. Names of winners and results of the raffle will be available on receipt of a request to cafod@cafod.org.uk

27. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the disqualification of the entry. Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.
