The CAFOD Nativity Run is back!
Jen and Hannah: "We got the costumes specially for this race, but we’ll get good use out of them over Christmastime!"
Claudia: "I feel aquatic. You can wiggle your tail to go faster. The loaves are better runners, but we’ll support each other."
Father Christmas with his Reindeers at the Nativity Fun Run 2012
Did you always want to be the angel in the school play? Do you secretly admire the style secrets of a shepherd? Well now is your chance.
On Saturday 14 December CAFOD will be taking over Clapham Common for our annual family fun run. This year you can either choose to take part in a 5k or 10k route, and there is also the new 'Nativity toddle' a 400m journey for the very little ones.
Registration is just £10 for adults, £5 for teens and free for under 12s. Even better, when you register you will receive a fundraising welcome pack and email, on the day practical information, a crown template for your outfit and posters to publicise your run in your area.
Fancy dress is strongly encouraged with prizes for best Nativity costume, and there will be a mulled wine and mince pie reception at the end, and of course photo opportunities in your outfit with your family and friends.
Most of all, you will know that the money you raise will be going to support our work and those who need it most overseas.
To register, please follow our link to our Nativity Run webpage where you can sign up. If you have any more questions about the run or about CAFODs work, please feel free to email the events team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
