Job profile
The purpose of ERO is to provide humanitarian expertise, emergency response capacity, support and advice to CAFOD’s programme staff and partners in South Sudan. To contribute to the delivery of effective and high quality humanitarian assistance, preparedness, and risk reduction through CAFOD programmes. Central to CAFOD’s humanitarian response is working with and alongside CAFOD partners in providing support, expertise and building long-term capacity. The ERO shall plan and coordinate emergency response and recovery activities and ensure delivery of quality programmes across the country.
Your role
The ERO shall be
· A member of the South Sudan Emergency Response Team (ERT), South Sudan country team as well as regional humanitarian team.
· ERO shall work across the country programme on emergency response and recovery activities and with different partners.
· Works and coordinates closely with the WASH Manager, Logistician, Livelihoods Officers and Accompaniers and counterpart staff from CAFOD Partners.
· A member of CAFOD humanitarian emergency response and surge capacity team that can be deployed beyond the borders of South Sudan to provide support and expertise to humanitarian programmes.
· The position is based in Juba, Central Equatorial State (CES) with frequent field travel and extended secondment to partners based on needs.
· The position has no line management responsibility.
The applicant should be someone with Community Management & Disaster Risk Reduction (CMDRR) background.

CAFOD, on behalf of Norwegian Church Aid (NCA), is seeking a Senior Finance Officer for the NCA Darfur Programme.
The Senior Finance Officer will work alongside national partners to strengthen their internal financial and administrative functions, and ensure accountability by ensuring all records of financial transactions and agreements are adequately recorded, monitored and entered under the correct accounting code.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant or possess equivalent relevant experience in an INGO. The successful candidate will further have good interpersonal skills and a team oriented attitude. We are looking for someone with excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Word (knowledge of Navision and Mamut would be advantageous) a high degree of initiative, motivation and flexible attitude and an aptitude for financial tasks and attention to detail.
Applicants will need to demonstrate good training, capacity building and strong financial acumen. It is essential that candidates also demonstrate an ability to work under pressure and in a stressful environment with an ability to work independently and with self-confidence. An ability to interpret and apply rules to complex transactions is also essential. Excellent knowledge of oral and written English is essential.

Job Purpose
· To be responsible for providing efficient and effective administration to CAFOD’s Office in Sudan
· Provide general office support including HR administrative support, keeping log of petty cash, being the IT focal point and ensuring buildings and premises are maintained
Key responsibilities
· Setting up meetings, booking venues and arranging vehicles as needed
· Ensure sufficient supplies of CAFOD resources, stationary etc for the use of office staff.
· Maintain effective office records (HR, IT, Vehicles, Insurance, legal agreements and correspondence).
· Ensure office handbooks, processes, policies and procedures are disseminated to all staff as needed and source documents are stored in all user files
· Ensure provision of relevant insurance cover (office, vehicle, and personal accident), obtaining quotes and renewing cover annually.
Education:
· University degree in administration or related field
Knowledge and experience:
· At least 5 years experience in similar position with International NGO or UN
· Computer skills in MS packages
· Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic

Contribute to the achievement of CAFOD’s objectives by working with partners through accompaniment, capacity building and sourcing or providing specialist technical support. The Accompanier will have responsibility for supporting partners to carry out effective planning, implementation, management, coordination and regular monitoring of programme activities. The accompanier shall be expected to ensure effective delivery of programme activities. The Accompanier will not, however, be involved in the direct implementation work in replacement of the partner.

Job Profile
The Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Sector Manager will provide leadership and expert assistance to improve sustainable access to safe water supply, sanitation and hygiene services to IDP camps, host communities and underserved rural areas in South and Central Darfur. The WASH Sector Manager will have a key role in assisting the Programmes Department to achieve the agreed strategy, goals and annual plans for and improving its ability to cope with additional demands resulting from changes in the context and operating environment.
Your profile
· Qualified water/civil/environmental/sanitation/hydrology engineering with a proven practical background in water supply and sanitation design works and proven experience in sanitation and public health programme implementation.
· Knowledge of survey and research methods (particularly GIS mapping, SPSS, Data Analysis software)
· Knowledge of participatory techniques and experience in designing and implementing programmes with a high level of community participation.
· Proven experience of managing similar programmes in a range of different country contexts, and in complex emergency situations and insecure environments.
