A retired teacher who once worked in Ethiopia is challenging herself to survive on £1 a day for a week to raise awareness of world hunger.

CAFOD Supporters go hungry for change for Lent Fast Day
Tomorrow, Friday 22 February is our annual Lent Fast Day. In churches and schools across England and Wales, CAFOD supporters of all ages will be putting on activities to raise funds and awareness for people around the world who do not have enough to eat.
