Give as you pay - CAFOD credit card
Most credit cards are merely a method of payment. But every time you pay for anything with a CAFOD credit card, you can also support our work to help people rise out of poverty
Far more than a way to pay
CAFOD is proud to introduce a credit card, in association with The Co-operative Bank, the only UK high street bank with a strict Ethical Policy.
Most credit cards are merely a method of payment. But every time you pay for anything with a CAFOD credit card, you can also support our work to help people rise out of poverty.
Switching from your existing credit card need not cost you any extra** yet will raise much-needed funds as The Co-operative Bank will give CAFOD:
- £15 as soon as you open your account
- a further £2.50 if the card is used within six months
- 25p for every £100 you spend or transfer* from your existing cards to your new CAFOD card
Every account will help to change lives
The money that The Co-operative Bank gives us will support a huge variety of projects working with our partners throughout the developing world. Here are just a few examples:
- £15 could help to educate a child who has been orphaned by AIDS
- £2.50 could pay for seeds to plant a field of beans to provide a living for a family in East Timor
- Even 25p makes a difference – in fact every single penny raised by the CAFOD credit cards can help someone take their first steps out of poverty towards a brighter future
Responsible spending
CAFOD is aware that debt is a very real issue and as a responsible organisation, we do not want anyone to take on spending that they can’t afford. But if you already use a credit card, we hope you will consider switching to a new CAFOD credit card instead.
For more information and to apply
