Supporting people with HIV and AIDS

The MMM Counselling and Social Services Centre was established in 1992 when the government asked the churches to become involved in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

It began as a referral centre, receiving people from hospitals and other organisations in the city for counselling.

Later, it became more flexible and now responds in a broader way to problems expressed by clients, their families, and the local community. It has an agreement, through the Addis Ababa Archdiocese, with the Addis Ababa SNGOAO and the Bureau of Health.
