Get on your bike and help raise money for CAFOD

Tackle hairpin bends and mountainous climbs in this exhilarating cycling challenge.

This thrilling, short cycling challenge links the two classic cities of Paris and Geneva, crossing the Swiss border with a fabulous Tour de France climb in the beautiful Jura Mountains.

Your route will take you south-east from Paris, crossing rolling chalk hills, quiet woodland and rural plateaus.

The landscape is dotted with small medieval towns and Romanesque churches as you cycle through the famous vineyard regions of Champagne and Burgundy. Skirting Dijon, you will head on to the foot of the Jura.

Your legs will feel well-prepared as you tackle the hair-pin bends of the Col de la Faucille (1232m), your gateway into the Switzerland and the toughest part of the challenge! Your finishing point will be beside Lake Leman in beautiful Geneva.

By taking part in this cycling adventure, you will be helping CAFOD in the race against poverty.

To accept this challenge contact CAFOD’s events coordinator Catherine Leeson on the details below, or submit the online application form.

You will receive a letter of confirmation plus a fundraising pack which is filled with practical tips to help you reach your target.
