Trek challenge: Walk Hadrian's Wall
Retrace the steps of the Romans and discover the magic of Hadrian's Wall.
Originally running from coast to coast and spanning 72 miles, only sections of the wall remain today - a tribute to the Romans’ amazing feat of engineering.
Starting at Lanercost Priory, you will trek 25 miles (41 kilometres) over two days, taking in the stunning countryside and fabulous views of Hadrian’s Wall as it stretches into the distance. The trek finishes at Broccolitia Roman Fort.
While you witness history close up, and get away from it all, you can be sure that the money you’re raising money will transform the lives of the very poorest communities across the world. What a feeling!
To take this challenge, contact CAFOD’s events coordinator Catherine Leeson or submit the online application form.
You will receive a letter of confirmation plus a fundraising pack which is filled with practical tips to help you reach your target.
