Set up your own fundraising event
Fundraising events come in all shapes and sizes, so there’s something for everybody. And it doesn’t have to be hard work!
Whether you are part of a school, a youth group, or a parish, organising events to raise money can be a fun way to support our work, while learning more about the world we live in at the same time.
You could turn a sociable occasion such as a coffee morning or a book club meeting into a fundraiser.
Or how about transforming a hobby into something more meaningful?
The money raised from a sponsored swim or a marathon bridge session will help CAFOD to tackle poverty and change lives.
There is a whole range of creative and fun ways in which you can raise money. Here are some ideas to help get you started.
For many years CAFOD supporters in parishes throughout England and Wales have denied themselves luxuries on Fridays, giving the money they save to CAFOD.
You can help stop a child dying of hunger every five seconds by giving up your own lunch for just one day
