Run to the Beat - London Half Marathon
Join Team CAFOD on September 26th, 2010 and Run to the Beat in London's famous Docklands
"Run to the rhythm, run to the beat, keep your feet moving, and pound that street” - all while helping communities living in poverty across the world.
Beginning and ending in the shadow of London's famous O2 arena in Docklands, the half-marathon course is lined with musicians playing to keep you on the move.
People of all ages are encouraged to take part. If you want to join Team CAFOD, we are asking people to commit to raising £200 minimum sponsorship that will go towards supporting our work with some of the world’s poorest communities.
You can also apply for your own place in the run by entering the ballot - if you are successful you can still join the CAFOD team making us even bigger and better.
When completing your own place application please select CAFOD as your charity of choice – this way, if you secure a place in the run your name will automatically be passed on to us.
Whether you have your own place in the run or would like a CAFOD charity place, we will provide:
- A CAFOD running vest
- Training schedules and top tips
- A fundraising pack, sponsorship forms and your own fundraising web page
- Team CAFOD e-newsletters
Do something amazing.
