Hold your own Eco-Carnival
This fundraiser is great for schools and youth groups - inspired by Brazil, where carnivals and colourful local festivals have an important role in bringing communities together
Many children in these communities face a range of problems in their lives – poverty, the impact of environmental destruction and
violence.
Carnival time provides respite from these hardships but also the opportunity for local people – children as well as adults – to promote positive messages about how their communities can change.
