The Central America Spirituality Institute (ICE) is a Jesuit training centre run by the writer and theologian, Carlos Cabarrus sj.
The centre runs courses in personal and spiritual development, and includes a programme specifically for indigenous people.
Project Aims:
To strengthen the capacity of indigenous community leaders in taking forward processes of social development in regions affected by years of violence and political repression.
Project Objectives:
- To develop and nurture a new generation of leaders in indigenous communities.
- To strengthen links of solidarity and shared identity between indigenous communities in southern Mexico and Guatemala
