To support local partners to design, implement and monitor programme response based on identified local needs as part of CAFOD’s ‘HIV and AIDS’ programme in Sudan. The Programme Officer is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with partners, at both operational and strategic level, in line with the Country Strategy Paper and agreed Programmatic Frameworks, facilitating assessments, programme design, monitoring reviews and technical capacity building of partners as appropriate. In line with CAFOD’s values and working principles, the Programme Officer is responsible for carrying out the appraisal, monitoring and review of partner programmes, facilitating learning and best practice. The Programme Officer also has a responsibility to capture learning from their work and feed this learning back into the wider organisation.
This is a one year contract, including a 3-month probation period, and is renewable based on successful performance.

This post will require frequent travel within Sudan and occasionally internationally.
