All around the world, we are meeting the challenges of HIV and AIDS, which forms one of the biggest threats, not just to health, but to human development, on our planet

Our work aims to prevent the spread of HIV, care for those affected by it, and support those working to change systems negatively affecting people with, or at risk from, HIV.

We support education programmes about how HIV is transmitted, which help people identify how to reduce their risk, plus we help improve the quality of life for those living with HIV.

But caring for those with HIV is much more than just healthcare. Communities badly affected by HIV need counselling, home-based care, training for work, and support for children left orphaned or otherwise affected.

There is a strong link between care and support, and prevention. All our HIV work has the full support of the Bishops of England and Wales.

Celina (pictured) carries heavy responsibility as both her parents are HIV positive. Thankfully she has help from Amelia, one of many HIV volunteers who stand alongside families in need, supported by our local Mozambique partner CEDES.

Celina says: “This has made a big difference. We are so glad for the help you give us. Please find it in your hearts to keep supporting us because we need as much help as we can get."
