CAFOD open house: Saturday 28 January

As part of our 50th Anniversary celebrations, CAFOD will be hosting an Open House on Saturday 28 January. We are opening the doors to CAFOD’s central London office, Romero House, to supporters and the public between 10:30am – 1:00pm.

During this time, a number of teams will be displaying their work throughout Romero House, which will include information on our current Thirst for Change campaign, examples of heroic fundraising stories, information on the beginnings of CAFOD and details about CAFOD’s overseas programmes. There will be presentations given by CAFOD staff and directors throughout the morning:

  • From 10:40 you can hear about partnership from Geoff O’Donoghue and Tom O’Connor, Directors of International and Community and Supporter Divisions;
  • From 11:20 Neil Thorns, Director of Advocacy will be presenting on our campaigns, policy and media work;
  • From 12:00 you can hear from our Facilities Manager, Quentin Padgett on CAFOD’s stewardship and sustainable practice in our offices at Romero House.

Throughout the morning, guided tours of Romero House will be available, and you will also be able to meet a number of staff and overseas partners on hand to talk about their work over tea and coffee. If you would like to attend, it is open to the public and there is no need to sign up beforehand – just arrive on the day.

We look forward to seeing you and sharing the amazing work done by our partners and supporters these last 50 years.
