Tea time for change: refresh the call for global justice!

Join us on 9 June for the most important cuppa you’ll have all year!

There’s nothing like a chat over tea to help people understand one another. On Thursday 9 June 2011, we’ll be creating a giant tea room in the heart of Westminster – and you’re invited! But this isn’t just a cosy cuppa. It’s your opportunity to tell your MP how you feel about tackling global poverty.

Sit down with your MP; stand up for justice

We’ll be asking MPs to ensure that aid reaches those who need it most, to shine a light on the payments companies make to poor countries, and find new and fair ways of funding development. So by sitting down with your MP you really can take global poverty to the heart of government.

With inspiring speakers, an ecumenical service, informative workshops and campaign cakes, it’s all brewing up to be a great day– so please sign up now!

Sign up for tea time in 1 minute:

1. Type your postcode in the box to find your MP and constituency
2. Enter your details to register, or to support the event if you can’t make it
3. Then email your invitation to your MP!
We need as many people as possible to be there, so please also tell your friends!

Once you’ve registered, you’ll get an email with your next steps, be able to access our events site where you can find out more about the day, connect with others in your constituency, sign up to be a Constituency Champion and more.
