Supporting democratic change
Decidamos (“Let us decide”) was founded shortly after the coup that overthrew Stroessner when 14 NGOs made a massive effort to build a sense of democratic participation. Decidamos now aims to address the long-term challenges of supporting democratic change.
CAFOD supports two programmes: The Democratic Culture programme and the Youth Organisation and Participation Programme. Participation of young people is fundamental for a democratic system to become reality in Paraguay.
