Campaigning

Everything that you need to involve young people in CAFOD's campaigns

Taking action through campaigning with CAFOD is a great way for young people to make a real difference - whether it's by demonstrating with thousands of people at events or by lobbying your MP locally.

You can include campaigning in your Confirmation programme or retreat day as well as using it as a focus for CAFOD Action Group activities.

The Act on Poverty campaign focuses on aid, big business and climate change. Use the special materials for young people alongside the background information on the campaigns page.

Versatile drama Degrees of Change helps to explore more closely the issues behind climate change and the role of young people in tackling it. Look at the faith, personal and political responses to climate change by performing it as a whole play or discussing excerpts in small groups.
