Drama - Mike Jones and Rachel Isaiah (both 18 years old) playing Frances and Christina in 'Degrees of Change' [Bernadette Delaney]

Drama resource exploring the theme of climate change, its relationship to poverty and injustice, and what it means for young people in the UK

The 40-minute play is fast-paced and thought-provoking and follows the lives of a group of sixth formers as they struggle to cope with their death of one of their number, Claire during a flood in Kenya.

It is designed for young people to perform at school or in parishes, in youth groups or at events.

Excerpts can be used alongside the education resource pack with CAFOD Action groups, or as part of Confirmation programmes, examining how characters respond through a struggle with Christian faith, personal lifestyle change, and political action.
