El Camino de Santiago de Compostela - The latest CAFOD challenge

Dust off those walking boots and take some time for reflection and a sense of tranquillity

We’re organising a pilgrimage that treks the last 100 miles of a Spanish pilgrim route to the city of Santiago de Compostela, Galicia; where the apostle Saint James the Great is said to be laid to rest.

As a sponsored initiative; we’re asking people to raise £500 for their efforts to go towards helping our work.

Places for the 2010 September pilgrimage are now full. Watch this spa

ce for trip updates and for details of pilgrimages in 2011.

All abilities are welcome; you don’t have to be super-fit, just enthusiastic!
