CAFOD produces an annual review of our finances and work to celebrate the global impact that you enable us to deliver.
Our faith calls us to work for justice, to recognise historical realities with honesty and humility, and to stand in solidarity with those whose dignity and God-given potential continue to be denied.
Each annual review incorporates the reports of the trustees and our financial statements. They illustrate who we are as an organisation, what drives us to act, and how we work with our partners, supporters and the people we reach.

In a year marked by escalating conflict, climate challenges and deep uncertainty across the globe, the CAFOD community has stood steadfast in faith and solidarity.
Guided and led by local partners, your generosity has helped reach millions of people with emergency relief, long-term hope and the tools to flourish.
Our work is always shaped and led by local partners who know their communities best. From supporting families in Malakal, South Sudan, who are growing crops on floating gardens amid severe floods, to standing alongside local leaders responding to conflict in Gaza, Sudan, Ukraine and Myanmar, your support ensures help reaches where it is needed most.
During the Jubilee Year, under the banner of Pilgrims of Hope, we were reminded that living out Catholic Social Teaching means answering God’s call to a reset: standing for justice, speaking out on debt relief and walking together towards a fairer world.
1.75 million people reached directly through project participants and local partner organisations worldwide.
Over 721,000 people reached with humanitarian support through partners, providing emergency relief, shelter, food and mental healthcare in crisis zones such as Sudan, Gaza and Lebanon.
311 projects funded across more than 30 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Europe.
46 local women-led organisations supported directly, receiving 26% of our overall overseas funding.
82% of MP constituencies engaged in England and Wales through supporter campaigning on debt justice and climate action.

As Pope Francis declared 2025 a Year of Jubilee, thousands of CAFOD supporters across England and Wales stepped forward to act, pray and campaign.
Over 50,000 campaign actions taken by parish members and supporters online.
1,124 personal letters written by supporters to their MPs calling for a new Debt Justice Law to release vulnerable nations from unmanageable debt.
Over 2,000 school communities hung Pilgrims of Hope banners and took the Jubilee Pledge to live out Catholic Social Teaching in daily life.
5,000 people attended the Act Now, Change Forever mass lobby at Parliament, carrying the urgent call for climate and debt justice directly to decision makers.
Thanks to the incredible commitment of parishes, schools and individual supporters, we raised £52.8 million this year to fund vital work around the world.
Where the money came from (£52.8m total):
£40.2m: donations, parish collections, gifts in wills and individual supporters;
£12.0m: charitable grants and international project funding;
£0.6m: other sources.
(Including £2.5m raised via Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) appeals for ongoing emergencies in Ukraine, Afghanistan, South Sudan and the Middle East.)
How your donations were used (£50.6m total):
£43.3m (86%): direct charitable work supporting communities, responding to emergencies and building long-term change;
£7.3m (14%): raising funds, reporting back to supporters and securing future resources.
We work with 628 local partner organisations to build resilience, peace and sustainable livelihoods.

Volunteering with CAFOD is a living story of service, prayer and community. This year, 2,088 volunteers carried out 4,265 assignments:
2,167 parish assignments nurturing prayer, raising awareness, and inviting others into solidarity.
1,817 school sessions supporting young people to grow in understanding, compassion, and justice.
281 events, campaign and administrative roles keeping our global mission moving forward.
