Hello! My name is Rachel and I am the Community Participation Coordinator for the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. I joined CAFOD in September 2023 and my role is to support a team of CAFOD volunteers who engage in CAFOD’s work and share it with their parishes to encourage support for our appeals and participation in our campaigns.
We are inspired by Scripture and Catholic Social Teaching and believe that we are called by our faith to tackle poverty, injustice and to care for our common home. We are always looking for new volunteers so please get in touch. It would be lovely to hear from you!
