As we mark three years of war in Sudan on 15th April, Kayode Akintola - CAFOD’s Head of Region in Africa - is making a special appeal to the Catholic community for monthly support.

This is why monthly giving is so vital – so that we can stay present and keep saving lives - until peace is restored. Pray for Sudan - Use our prayers of intercession to come together and pray for the people of Sudan and for a lasting peace.
Hand out stickers - The Catholic Church is one of the few voices consistently raising awareness of this often forgotten crisis. Order our 'I stand with Sudan' stickers and hand them out after Mass as a public sign of solidarity with the people of Sudan.
Send a message to the Foreign Secretary - Share this petition with your parish calling on the UK Government to take urgent, concrete action to end the suffering in Sudan.
What is happening in Sudan?
The war in Sudan has forced millions of people to flee their homes, creating one of the world’s largest displacement crises. As families fleeing their homes to escape the violence run out of food, water and medicine, it is estimated that over 30 million people are now in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.
